Fondren is a grouping of neighborhoods in Jackson, Mississippi. FRF is committed to the support of the 3,000+ residents and 200+ small businesses in those neighborhoods. It isknown for its vibrant arts scene, eclectic architecture, welcoming atmosphere, local businesses, charming homes, and wonderful people. Our community is a celebrated success today because of decades of grassroots passion from residents and business owners alike.

Quality of Life
FRF has a full-time Executive Director who is committed to improving quality of life in our neighborhoods. The Executive Director focuses on issues small and large, from driving our roads and reporting to the city where more resources are needed, to advocating for funding in the state and city budget, to managing the upkeep of the historic Cedars building at Old Canton and Meadowbrook.

FRF has partnered with the world-renowned architects and urban planners at City Collective to shape Fondren Forward—a shared vision for Fondren’s future.
Community
