Fondren is the epicenter for health and education in the state of Mississippi. Home to four hospitals and the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Medicine, the vast majority of all doctors, dentists, pharmacists, physical therapists, nurses, researchers and other medical professionals throughout Mississippi have come through Fondren at some point in their educational or professional careers. You will find St. Dominic Health Services, University Medical Center, Mississippi Methodist Rehabilitation Center and Veterans Administration all in the southeast corner of Fondren.
